Le Golden sur Aix-Les-Bains

A perfect stay as always at the Hotel Riviera in Aix-les-Bains! Formerly the Golden Tulip We've been coming for several years now, and it's always a real pleasure to stay here. The hotel is truly excellent: the welcome is warm, the rooms are comfortable, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. Special mention to Margaux, the receptionist, who takes care of us every year with great kindness and professionalism. She is always attentive and does everything to ensure our stay is perfect. A big thank you to the whole team; we will gladly return!

Disappointed by the buffet, thank you to the restaurant manager for making a gesture. Disappointed, no mules available!!: to go to the spa, even though the room was booked with spa access, apparently they were out of stock according to the staff. Forced to walk barefoot from the 3rd floor to the spa, quite unacceptable for a hotel of this category, a shame.

Couple's stay. We had a wonderful stay. The relaxation/pool area is very pleasant, and the facilities are spacious and well-equipped. The meal at the "L'Alchimiste" restaurant was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel is close to the city center and offers direct access to the casino via a private footbridge near the lake. Parking is available on-site (underground for an additional fee or in front of the hotel). It was a very pleasant stay.

Spacious room with a very small tea corner. The toilet is separate from the shower. Cleanliness: the bare minimum is done; above the toilet, a trace of dust can be seen if you run your finger over it, as well as in the reading corner. Several cushions are available, so there's something for everyone (memory foam, very soft, and rather firm). My friend and I tried the body wrap and facial treatment. Excellent treatment, very relaxing, very professional staff. At the end of the treatment, we were taken to a relaxation room where we could enjoy fresh peach-flavored water or hot tea. Breakfast: the room is too small compared to the rest of the hotel. When we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. There's a small savory section and a small sweet section. Several homemade cakes are available, as well as honey served directly in a divided container. Dinner: very good, roughly 5 choices in each category, however, the service was very slow. Location: right next to the center, with underground parking. Access to the baths: on two different levels, you have to take the elevator (1st floor and -1). Both areas have a water feature, but neither is very large. On -1 there is a small children's area with shallow water and water jets.

This hotel is truly amazing! For the price, it's perfect. The rooms are beautiful, and the bed is made perfectly every morning. The access to the spa on the two floors is wonderful. There was a small issue in the room, but a young man at reception explained everything clearly and took care of it, which is what matters. I highly recommend everyone check it out!

The spa is great, the masseuses are professional and very kind, I recommend it.

I stayed at the Golden Tulip Aix-les-Bains and overall it was fine. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. A big plus is the housekeeping staff, who are truly excellent, pleasant, and efficient. The breakfast is also very good, varied, and of good quality. However, for the price, the service leaves something to be desired. The TV is connected, but it's impossible to connect anything to it, which is a shame. There's no phone to contact room service, which complicates things. At the bar, the bartender asked us to wait 20 to 30 minutes to order because he was busy with Valentine's Day preparations. He even said he couldn't be "in two places at once." We understand that there are things to organize, but we are still customers. In short, the hotel is decent and comfortable, but for the price, we expect smoother and more attentive service.

Our room was spacious and nicely furnished. The minibar was a nice touch (free soft drinks). The coffee wasn't to my liking, but herbal teas, tea, and hot chocolate were also available. The spa was very pleasant with very friendly staff. The breakfast was very mediocre, only surpassing budget hotels in the quantity of products offered. There was a lot of choice, but most of it was industrially produced, and above all, it consisted solely of milk and cocoa reconstituted with water in automatic machines.

Excellent weekend! Special mention for the Alchemist restaurant. The only downside was the spa being too crowded and therefore too noisy for a relaxation area.

Hotel close to the city center and the lake, very well located. Excellent standard, superb service, and a professional team. The bedding is excellent, the rooms are very clean, and the decor is beautiful. The spa provided us with pleasant moments of relaxation and is quite comprehensive. The excellent restaurant L’Alchimiste is located in the hotel, along with a bar; I highly recommend dining there. Access to the spa is also a must. The photos of the rooms are perfectly accurate. We had an excellent stay.
