While passing through Blois, we enjoyed spending a night at the Novotel. It is located in the heart of the city but the rooms are away from the street: the calm is therefore really conducive to rest. The welcome is very professional, the team being as discreet as they are available. “Pet friendly” establishment: this is also a very welcome feature!

We had booked 2 nights. Arrival possible from 3 p.m. At 4:30 p.m. our room was just ready: not so ready after all... vacuum cleaner not done, dirty floors on carpet and bathroom not swept (hair from previous tenants!) In addition, the sheets were wet (not damp, wet) + dirt on the walls and toilets. Ok it’s not a palace but it’s called hygiene. We mentioned it to an unfriendly cleaning lady who was in the corridor who replied “it’s normal it’s Saturday and on Saturday we wash the laundry at the hotel but it will dry.” We might as well tell you that we left the windows open to avoid sleeping in wet sheets in the evening… Concerning breakfast, choice ok, but what a mess. Very noisy, something was always missing (they brought the plates and bowls 3 by 3!) I recommend before 8am! SYSTEMATIC room card problem. Forced to re-magnetize the card every time we left it. Pool area ok but 6 deckchairs for the capacity of the hotel is a little light… For 2 nights we will say that it did the trick.

We spent two nights there with two small dogs, pleasant hotel, always smiling staff There was a problem with our reservation and a solution was found. We found the room clean. The pool is not very warm but very clean. And the breakfasts are super complete and local 👍 THANKS

We booked a family room for an evening stopover on the road to vacation with our two children. When we arrived in the room, half of the bathroom linen was missing and the sink was clogged. We have already booked family rooms in hotels of the same group, of lower range (ibis) and the rooms were generally better designed with a partition wall between parents and children. The children's bedding was more like an extra bed and was unworthy of a Novotel. One of the beds creaked every time one of the children made a movement. We nevertheless salute the friendliness of the staff and their responsiveness in bringing the bathroom linen and unclogging the sink. The main bed was as you would expect from a bed in a Novotel. Breakfast was very good.

A few minutes from the cathedral and the center, where all the restaurants are located. Clean, friendly staff, pleasant rooms. Equipped with a small swimming pool and children's play area. The only flaw, for me, is the breakfast not up to the price, with the dry Pan au chocolat.
