Le Grand B sur Combourg

11/09/2024: The review is about the restaurant. We have had lunch in Combourg at the restaurant several times now. castle hotel. Beautiful view of the lake and the castle 🏰 at the entrance. Lovely Sunday meal and beautiful pieces from the butcher, a Sunday entrecôte with fries and a vinous Bordeaux wine which goes well with the dish. Mention the gourmet dessert. Coming back soon.

10/09/2024: Good location in the square of the small town, near the lake and very close to the Combourg castle. Kind welcome. Possibility of free parking in a private courtyard. Unfortunately we stayed in a room in the annexe, without a lift. Large room but decidedly dated, as is the bathroom. Good level of cleanliness. We also had dinner at the hotel and I must say that the service was fast and pleasant. But you have to order everything straight away because the kitchen closes at 8.45pm and they don't take any further orders. Average dishes, good wine. Good value for money for both the room and dinner. Problems with the internet signal so much so that we weren't even able to pay by card. Luckily we had cash.
