Le Grand Café de La Poste sur Perpignan

We only had coffee and a croissant for breakfast, but the service was good. Not highly recommended for the price.

During our visit to this establishment, we had a very pleasant time. We would particularly like to highlight the quality of the welcome: we were served by a very pleasant brunette waitress with whom we had a good laugh. The service remained professional yet relaxed. We were able to enjoy the sunshine on the terrace, which was quite lively on this Saturday afternoon.

We didn't try the food but had a drink in a pleasant setting.

Our Saturday morning coffee and croissant break in Perpignan. We haven't eaten there yet, but we love this well-located and bright café. We also appreciate the service from Mr. Philippe, known from the Americas to the far reaches of China! 😂

Café de la Poste is one of those classic and popular cafés that bring the centre of Perpignan to life. Located in front of the square, it offers good views and a local atmosphere, ideal for both a break and a leisurely breakfast while watching the city go by. The experience is simple but pleasant: crispy croissants, decent coffee, orange juice, and sweet options such as chocolate and banana crêpes, very generous and perfect for a casual breakfast or snack. It doesn't seek sophistication, but does the essentials well. The atmosphere is popular and authentic, with regulars, tourists and locals. The service is quick, no frills, but efficient. A place to sit without rushing, especially nice if the weather is nice and you can enjoy the terrace.

The place is okay. The coffee is decent, but I wouldn't go there just for that, and the prices aren't cheap because a latte was almost €4. They don't speak Spanish or Catalan.

The cafe ☕️ is not bad, cheap and a nice view from the terrace overlooking the Notre-Dame gate, sunny in the afternoon.

The waitress was unpleasant but the service was quick.
