Le Grand Hotel de la plage sur Biscarrosse

Restaurant : We would have appreciated pitted olives (and from Nyons, Chef@), more elegant to eat, and a little crumb scooping when the time comes. Menu at 69€ which is a real pleasure (a delicate lavender jelly accompanies an excellent foie gras), small vegetables to accompany the perfectly cooked red mullet fillets and generally speaking, the main course of very balanced red mullet fillets (flavors and quantities). Mille Feuilles with pear, light, not very sweet which allows you to finish with pleasure. Efficient and friendly room service. Little wait between courses, we came on a Saturday at 12:30 p.m. (and having reserved). The special Grand Hotel Spritz is excellent and puts you in a good mood :-) A very good restaurant that can be 200% recommended.

Superb establishment with its feet on the dune facing the sea. Unforgettable experience

The hotel is in an ideal location, there are rooms where you basically fall asleep and wake up on the beach. It's worth it. The view is everything! The rooms are rather simply decorated, but it is not important, what is important is the beach and full integration with it.

Idyllic setting, magnificent hotel and very welcoming staff. Pleasant relaxation area but it would be nice to wipe down a raclette between each customer because that is not very hygienic, too bad... When we reported this to the receptionist in a blue suit, he replied that it seemed strange to him and that cleaning was done between each customer... we remained perplexed 🤨 And the latter is not very open to criticism anyway… in short, it’s a shame the criticism helps us move forward 😉 Nevertheless we had a very good weekend!

Invited by Mr for Valentine's Day this Sunday lunchtime at the restaurant of the Grand Hôtel de Biscarrosse beach, what a nice surprise, a table on the window side and terrace overlooking the ocean, a smile at the reception and throughout the service, it's a real pleasure, we're happy it smells good straight away the room is contemporary black & white decor dish glass of wine dessert coffee it's more than enough (yet enjoy your appetite) dishes: suggestion of the day à la carte boneless roast pigeon foie gras black garlic risotto pumpkin truffle with strong juice a pleasure to taste very well cooked 35€ generous quantity, my husband had a fillet of beef with roasted asparagus celery puree crazy juice see photos and for dessert cannelé soufflé flambéed with rum my husband a chocolate tartlet insert creme brulee ice cream honey mead in jelly see coffee photos with small chocolate shortbread PS 2 appetizers cabbage with fish rillette curry with olive oil lamb's lettuce what finesse to start with it immediately shows the quality! Starter menu, main course, dessert at €29 excluding coffee drinks, I don't know the bill, I was invited I recommend everything was perfect we will come back for sure Two premises 😉👍🍽️😋
