This restaurant, located on the main square in Vitry-le-François opposite the church, has the distinction of being one of the few open for Sunday lunch. The dishes are varied and very good. The welcome is friendly, but the tables are very close together, making it difficult to eat in peace and quiet. Otherwise, everything else is fine.

A stop in a lovely square dominated by a magnificent collegiate church, but above all, a restaurant we highly recommend. A warm welcome from the owner. A fantastic and very friendly waitress to whom we happily gave a geography lesson on the Vosges Mountains 😁 Good quality cuisine. See you soon on our next visit. The Raphaelo-Vosgien team.

09/08/2026: A nice restaurant in a quiet village. The meat dishes were good and offer good value for money. The wines were of good quality and fit well within the budget. Recommended if you are staying in the area.
04/08/2026: While visiting Vitry, we decided to stop at this restaurant after seeing the reviews. Well, it was disappointing... While our son was served very quickly, the same couldn't be said for the adults... These things happen! As for the food: the brasserie burger wasn't up to par for the price. The bun was very good, but the rest was tasteless, and one slice of bacon was burnt... The salmon tartare was also basic, with far too many shallots, etc. in it... So, after a long wait, and with an impatient child, we left without even looking at the dessert menu. A real shame 😔

06/07/2026: Hello. On our way back from Paris, we stopped here for lunch. What a culinary disappointment! The starter wasn't homemade; it was just a pre-packaged potato salad. The main course was frozen calamari and fries. They could have at least made an effort with homemade mayonnaise instead of store-bought. Only the dessert, a fresh fruit salad, was a pleasant surprise. Hence my second star. On the other hand, the atmosphere was nice, the waitresses were excellent, and the owner had a great sense of humor. Go there for everything except the food.
