An all-you-can-eat raclette evening was incredible. There was also a traditional French dance at the same time, a great atmosphere. My friend loved it and couldn't eat anything afterwards. Thanks, John.

A lovely cheese shop with a great selection of cheeses to take away. The restaurant is very large and the service is friendly. Some of the staff speak good English. The food in the restaurant was freshly prepared and delicious.

The building is quite impressive and immediately sets a distinctly Haut-Doubs atmosphere.
The service was a bit slow between courses, and the staff seemed somewhat unfamiliar with local products (they didn't know if the Edel de Cleron had a Protected Designation of Origin, for example).
As for the food, I chose the Morbier tartine as a starter, which was very good. However, for my main course, I ordered the "croûte forestière" (forest crust)... I'm still looking for the crust, just a sad piece of toasted bread placed on the corner of the plate. It was a far cry from a good slice of country bread soaked in mushroom sauce. My mother ordered the same dish as a starter... the mushroom sauce wasn't even the same... one wonders if it wasn't made hastily at the last minute, as the main course took so long to arrive.
The final blow came with the dessert, a tarte tatin. The apples still had their cores and seeds, the caramel was very light, but the pastry was very thick.
Disappointed, just passing through… I had better memories of it.

A Sunday lunchtime spent with a large family table in a typical Haut-Doubs setting.
The fondues, raclettes, and charcuterie are both generous and delicious. The service is quick, friendly, and efficient (thank you to Dominique, who is fantastic).
Unbeatable value for money, and the museum-workshop tour is fascinating.
Each time, we leave wanting to return very soon. Bravo to the whole team and family, a true gem of local gastronomy!
