Very typical place... clean. The tarte flambée was average... nothing special, nothing bad. The pfannal was good, but not as described. According to the waiter and the menu, it was sautéed potato topped with Munster or Ribeaupierre cheese. The potato was simply cooked and peeled without being pan-fried. The intention was there, but it didn't match the description, especially since it was left in the oven longer before being broiled.

Very warm welcome, qualified staff, luxurious and very clean rooms, refined and copious meals, all in a bucolic setting typical of Alsace, an experience to be repeated without hesitation, easy parking.

We had the pleasure of dining at Hups during a romantic weekend getaway, and the experience was delightful! A warm welcome and prompt service were followed by generous, traditional, and flavorful cuisine. Exactly what we were looking for! The portions were so generous that we didn't regret ordering just one starter and one dessert, which we shared. The asparagus starter was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture...

The waitress was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious! The Josephine room was a real gem, with its Alsatian style.

Incredible! I've never seen such an extensive natural wine list in a restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious!! You can tell the dishes were cooked with love—generous portions and amazing! Thank you for taking the time to explain so much about the wines to us; it was fascinating!!
