Le Jardin sur Gordes

This restaurant offers a daily menu, main course, dessert, and coffee for €23. We opted for the Duck Confit with tagliatelle and the lasagna. Both dishes were excellent. The red wine by the pitcher was good. The Peach Melba was excellent. The coffee was very good. The toilets are located in the garden, and the door looks dated, but the toilets are very decent. The wind didn't allow us to enjoy the garden, but it seemed very pleasant. A good restaurant for simple cuisine served with a smile and friendliness. We were much better there than on some of the village terraces.

Food is very good. Cash only??? I think it’s a tax thing.

They advertise a Lilly brand coffee... Gris doubts the veracity... but it will cost you 3 euros! The toilets date back to the Middle Ages and are cluttered! The garden is nice! A great tourist trap, even in October!!

Le Jardin, or Cafe Illy, is a hidden gem in Gordes. Run by a man and his wife out if what looks like a store, upon walking in the back opens up into a quant and beautiful garden. We loved sitting there. Service was fast, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I got the lasagna boulanaise with salad for 16€, my wife is vegetarian and found something she liked. I would highly recommend this delightful little cafe.

For a quick break from the chaos of Gordes, this place is ideal. Unexpectedly friendly, considering we're in France...

A great welcome for us and our dog this lunchtime! Doggie bar on the terrace, water bowl and bag of treats (!) brought to the table without us even asking, it's unheard of and very pleasant. Very friendly waiters and manager, fast service, we ate well and the prices were more than reasonable for Gordes.

The shaded terrace is unique in Gordes, as few restaurants offer such a pleasant dining space. Add to this the friendly service, good, simple dishes (salads, pasta, etc.), and, above all, reasonable prices for such a location. A restaurant right in the town center, close to free parking. We'll be back with great pleasure.

Great experience for us. Whether it's the kindness of the staff, the cute and calm setting or our dishes (the quiche and cheese, the bounty and the tatin for dessert... 😍🤤) ... Nothing to complain about.
