I was hesitant about the lamb steak after seeing the bad reviews, but it was very delicious!! I confidently say it is a restaurant worth visiting again.

It's a country restaurant. It's a bit chaotic, but the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious, too. The dessert is the best. Haha.

Lunch April 2026, decent food, a slight disappointment with the desserts, the main course was served at the same time as the aperitifs and to top it all off, paid parking!

25/03/2026: Another friendly, competent establishment, even though we just pitched up during lunch. Good English spoken. More briny, delicate oysters. Excellent Gluten Free Buckwheat Galette, my Seafood soup with cheese & rouille was superb. Great lunch, local beer, thoroughly recommend!
25/03/2026: My husband and I ate here this evening because the menu really appealed to us. And we weren't disappointed! We both ordered the set menu and it was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent and extremely friendly. The value for money is perfect. We also had a wonderful wine with our meal.

23/03/2026: We came as a family for three days and had an exceptional stay! Werner, the manager, pampers his guests with extraordinary attention. The room was magnificent, the restaurant was of Michelin-star quality, and the staff was incredibly attentive. A must-try!
23/03/2026: L’Ermitage Mont Saint-Michel is a fantastic place with a very high standard in every detail. From the moment you arrive, everything feels calm, well organised, and carefully prepared. The atmosphere is elegant but still warm and welcoming, which makes the experience comfortable without feeling too formal. The food was amazing, clearly made with great attention to quality and presentation. Each dish felt thoughtful and well balanced, and you can really see the care that goes into the cooking. The service was also excellent — very attentive, professional, and genuinely caring, always making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. You can understand why this place has a Michelin recommendation. It is well deserved. The whole experience feels refined, organised, and made to be special. Definitely a place worth visiting if you want a high-quality meal near Mont Saint-Michel.
