Le Jardin Des Arcades Chez Julia sur Viroflay

= The Positives = Limited menu, with 7 to 10 choices of galettes and crêpes. Option to order other things besides galettes or crêpes. Julia's cheerfulness is undeniably a plus, as is her friendliness. The service is inexpensive: 1 galette + 2 crêpes + 25cl of cider: €17. The decor is a bit kitschy but adds character to the place. Table availability: I went on a Wednesday at lunchtime and easily got a table without having booked in advance. = Areas for Improvement = There's a step to enter the restaurant (but I imagine Julia must have a ramp for people with reduced mobility or strollers). It lacks a bit of flavor: my galette was a little bland; perhaps Julia cooks without seasoning. Julia manages everything herself: seating, taking orders, cooking, serving, and payments, which affects the speed of service. Don't go if you only have 20 minutes to eat. = Other = To my knowledge, Le Jardin des Arcades doesn't offer takeout. I'm not sure I'll go back for a meal. Maybe for a coffee, yes. Julia has run this restaurant since 1991, making it a historic spot in Viroflay.

We often forget to leave a positive review but never forget to leave a negative one... We received a very warm welcome, in a friendly and polite manner. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. The wait is understandable as the owner is working alone! Bring a game and enjoy the experience. I recommend it!
