15/09/2026: The welcome was strange, with inappropriate remarks that quickly made me feel uncomfortable. The owner has a style that could be amusing, but her behavior quickly crossed the line. The dishes were homemade but lacked any particular flavor, and the price was too high for the quality offered.
14/09/2026: Excellent flank steak. We'll come back for lunch and to chat with the owner.

28/06/2026: We arrived by chance before catching our train this morning,
and received a very warm welcome and were served high-quality products. The breakfast option was impeccable; the coffee, fruit, and bread were excellent.

20/06/2026: We were staying at Soho House nearby and came cross this wonderful neighbourhood restaurant! The beef bourguignon was delicious. The meat was very tender and the flavour was authentic and yet not overwhelming. 🤤🫶🏻

08/04/2026: As a big fan of neighborhood restaurants, I find Wok delicious and affordable. Whether alone, with friends, or family, it's always a pleasure. Their takeout is excellent, with generous portions and very fast service. Bravo and thank you to the Wok team!
09/03/2026: From one disaster to another... this restaurant is often booked for private groups (tourists arriving by coach) and there's no prior notice.
The staff is very unwelcoming. The dining room is unremarkable. The food is decent for the price. Not worth the detour!

28/08/2026: Excellent bar, the best in Viroflay, always open and welcoming, offering a very interesting variety of beers and they even change their menu! I highly recommend it for a good time.

04/09/2023: Excellent Italian coffee, sandwiches, salads and pancakes at the top!! The crepes are delicious!
It smells homemade, it’s really nice! A nice little setting to stop and eat, I recommend!
12/08/2023: Delicious pancakes to enjoy along the Seine. A welcoming and... smiling team. A place also for a coffee stop under the shrubs or in the sun during a walk along the Seine.

Le Jardin Des Arcades Chez Julia

Limited menu, with 7 to 10 choices of galettes and crêpes.
Option to order other things besides galettes or crêpes.
Julia's cheerfulness is undeniably a plus, as is her friendliness.
The service is inexpensive: 1 galette + 2 crêpes + 25cl of cider: €17.
The decor is a bit kitschy but adds character to the place.
Table availability: I went on a Wednesday at lunchtime and easily got a table without having booked in advance.
= Areas for Improvement =
There's a step to enter the restaurant (but I imagine Julia must have a ramp for people with reduced mobility or strollers).
It lacks a bit of flavor: my galette was a little bland; perhaps Julia cooks without seasoning.
Julia manages everything herself: seating, taking orders, cooking, serving, and payments, which affects the speed of service. Don't go if you only have 20 minutes to eat.
= Other =
To my knowledge, Le Jardin des Arcades doesn't offer takeout.
I'm not sure I'll go back for a meal. Maybe for a coffee, yes.
Julia has run this restaurant since 1991, making it a historic spot in Viroflay.
22/08/2026: We often forget to leave a positive review but never forget to leave a negative one... We received a very warm welcome, in a friendly and polite manner. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. The wait is understandable as the owner is working alone! Bring a game and enjoy the experience. I recommend it!
