Le Jardin Les Crayères sur Reims

It's an exquisite place in every sense. It's not a cheap restaurant, but you have the option of different set menus at different prices, in addition to ordering à la carte. We opted for the €42 set menu, where you can choose from five starters, two main courses, and two desserts. Overall, all the food was delicious. The tomato sauce that accompanied the stuffed chicken was a delight; you can tell it was slow-cooked. The chocolate and pear dessert was exceptional. Delicious. The wine list is extensive, but you'll hardly find an affordable wine; the cheapest is €90, so that's definitely a drawback. But alcohol isn't cheap in France, especially in fine dining restaurants. The staff is very professional, serious, and disciplined. There's plenty of staff for each table, from a busboy and waiter to a sommelier, reception staff, and a head waiter, so the service is excellent. The kitchen is large and open, and it's lovely to watch the team at work. Highly recommended if your budget allows.

Yesterday at lunchtime, we received a charming and friendly welcome; we appreciated the service, which combined a respectful attitude with just the right amount of cordiality!

This was my first time at a restaurant of this caliber, and I wasn't expecting such high quality for such a reasonable price difference compared to a typical brasserie. We were treated like royalty and didn't feel like we were waiting at all. The dishes were delicious, perfectly hot, beautifully presented, and original, but above all, we were more than satisfied. The dining room was lovely and quite peaceful, even though we were close to other tables. All this for a €42 set menu—the magic of a provincial town that wasn't too touristy.

An exceptional evening with an incredible welcome from the entire team. Especially Terence, who took such good care of us. The meal was of superb quality, the recommendations perfect. A bartender who makes bespoke cocktails. Truly a magnificent experience. I highly recommend it.

We visited brasserie fist time (to eat , before we were considering to have wedding reception in 2023) but I must say the food is absolutely experience and exceptional and I am not a food critic , but it’s so tasty, and the menues are so well built - everyone will choose something. The staff is very professional but same time very friendly and made our experience with toddler much more enjoyable :) the service was fast (for those who have kids understand) :) After lunch , We enjoyed garden and coffee in the upper restaurant and hotel as a perfect dot to our Reims tour as it was beautiful day and they have a nice sunny terrace. The area is surrounded by famous champagne houses , it’s truly nice experience of Reims from different point of view (I have been living here 5 years!) We are definitely coming back , I would recommend the brasserie if you are looking for very tasty food and if you want to really enjoy lunch or dinner .

This establishment lived up to our expectations, with a warm and refined atmosphere, expertly prepared cuisine, and perfectly balanced flavors. The service was impeccable without being intrusive during our meal. A special mention goes to the sommelier, who was very attentive and guided us in our wine selection, even offering a brief explanation of the local terroir. The entire staff was incredibly professional. 👍 Thank you for this wonderful and enjoyable experience.
