Le Jardin Sucre sur Cernay-La-Ville

Excellent, a bit pricey, not something for every day, but every time it's a real moment of pleasure.

A noticeable drop in service and stock (including new products) in Cernay-la-Ville. Priority seems to be given to Dampierre-en-Yvelines... oh well, I'll buy less. Hoping things will improve again soon 😁

Excellent! The pastries are homemade and taste great.

As a customer from day one, I've seen several changes. The size of several pastries has decreased by 25%. Bags are now only available in limited quantities. The eco-friendly approach escapes me, as a bag is offered free with a certain purchase price. For me, ecology isn't linked to price. The prices are high, but the quality is exceptional for the macarons and pastries, worthy of the best. Taste remains a matter of personal preference. Parking in the city center is difficult on weekends. The macaron flavors are varied and unusual, though perhaps not as surprising as PH's. A few new pastry options would be welcome. Regarding the service, which is inconsistent, I remember the first salesperson who was extremely dedicated. The atmosphere and the Dampierre shop are more welcoming. It's impossible to reach them by phone.

It's a bit much to sell a "chocolate factory discovery" box for more than if you had bought the contents separately...

Perfect service. Perfect pastries.

Disappointed by the raspberry/rose macaron; you can't taste either flavor, but they're nonexistent. The caramel one is amazing, but the tops of the macarons break, which is a shame. The pecan nut and cinnamon cookie has way too much cinnamon.

I discovered this place in 2018 and was immediately won over; the brand offered excellent value for money. For several years now, I've noticed a lack of innovation. The same pastries keep coming back and then disappearing, many sharing a common structure with a praline center. They're good, but no longer surprising. Combined with the price increases, I find it's unfortunately no longer worthwhile, especially considering Cernay-la-Ville isn't exactly a major tourist destination. I understand the rising cost of raw materials and the investments in the chocolate factory and the Paris shop, but in my opinion, the impact on the customer is too significant. And once prices go up, they never go back, even if the business is successful. More innovation would bring back some of their long-time customers.
