Fantastic welcome, excellent meal and magical setting

A quick stop on the road, a spontaneous visit to this restaurant by a pond. Everything is homemade and it was excellent.

We had a wonderful time. Every detail was meticulously attended to, from the garlic tapenade amuse-bouche to the praline entremet, not forgetting the perfectly crisp steamed vegetables, the sea bream skin as crisp as a potato chip, the seasonings expertly balanced in both taste and texture, and the salmon rillettes that rivaled the very best on the coast. Bravo to the chef! The entire experience was complemented by the Coulange la Vineuse red wine: an unusual and daring choice from northern Burgundy, which developed a lovely complexity after aeration. A terroir with a bright future. The service was also excellent, with attentive but not intrusive waiters. We will be back!

Not bad overall. The setting is pleasant, the welcome friendly, and the meal decent. A minor drawback was the beef kebabs: the meat lacked tenderness and was rather tough to chew. A shame, because the rest of the experience was quite satisfactory.

The meal was excellent! We especially loved the French toast and the homemade nuggets from the children's menu. The staff is very friendly. They offered us a high chair as soon as we made the reservation. And my older child had coloring books to keep her occupied. Dogs are also allowed. The setting is superb; in short, we had a wonderful time!
