We had a very pleasant lunch at Lagon Bleu, with a superb view and a great atmosphere.
The welcome was warm and the staff very friendly.
The cocktails and appetizers were excellent, with little amuse-bouches served with the cocktails: a lovely surprise!
The cheese platter was also very well presented.
The main courses seemed a little bland to us, and the desserts didn't particularly impress us.
It's still a lovely place for lunch and a pleasant time.
Very mixed feelings: the food was good, but the service was lacking, especially when taking orders. No one came to check if everything was alright, if anything was needed, or even offer a smile. They forgot a cocktail for one person during their aperitif. The setting overlooking the lake is pleasant, but that's all. I wouldn't particularly recommend this restaurant. It's a shame because it has a lot of potential.
A magical spot in the middle of nowhere in the Aisne region! The contrast between the fine white sand, the green vegetation, and the blue-green water is stunning! The food is simple but decent. There's a lovely terrace and friendly staff. Take the opportunity to visit the World War I sites. Sadly, there are plenty of them there!
