Great discovery! This restaurant is ideally located near the city center and various parking lots. The dishes were very good, the service quick, and the staff pleasant. The only downside is that there are no spicier dishes on the menu (there are only dishes with mild spices). I still recommend it!

Nice restaurant with lots of charm, pleasant and fast service and above all, excellent cuisine! The price is absolutely right, we ate for two with an aperitif, starter and main course and more room for dessert 😅 we left the restaurant having eaten well! Great discovery, thank you very much!!

Classy Indian restaurant on the Quai des Bateliers. The food is good (butter chicken and kulfi/gulab jamoun) and the setting is beautiful with portraits of maharaja on the walls. Unfortunately 2 downsides occurred last night: - very noisy room (too much?) with tables close together - almost 30 minutes of waiting for the dishes (although only 2 people)

We dined without a reservation and there were still 2 tables available. The food is excellent, we had Chicken Tikka Massala, it was served with basmati rice, I also had a Naan with cheese. Everything was excellent!!! The homemade iced tea is also very good. The decor is refined with the beautiful chandelier and gilding everywhere. The staff is attentive and responsive. The only downside is that the tables are close to each other, so you can hear each other's conversations. We will surely come back to taste other specialties. I recommend 👍🏽

I recommend the Koorma, whether it is chicken or shrimp, you will enjoy it, take a Julienas to accompany all this, you can only be satisfied, viva India

10/12/2024: Highly recommend! Made sure to go there the second time when i was in strasbourg. Some of the best paneer I have had in Indian restaurants in France. Highly recommend paneer varanasi and naan with cheese and spices. Paneer butter masala was also good. These paneer dishes are only enough for one person so if you plan on sharing a dish and ordering naans individually, it doesnt quite work out the same. Except for the quantity, no complaints about the service or the food itself. The masala papad was quite good to have while waiting (it contained spicy pickle which can be good or bad depending on your taste). Good price for quality food. Oh, and super clean bathroom.

29/08/2024: If you are looking for authentic Indian food this is the best place ! The owner is a darling and he ensured that we were taken care of and he went out of box and took care of us. Will recommend this place any day
21/08/2024: I’ve tried many Indian restaurants, but " Shahi Mahal Indian Restaurant Strasbourg" is hands down the best! The flavors are authentic, and the portions are generous. The lamb vindaloo was my favorite – spicy, tangy, and absolutely delicious. The interior is modern yet warm, making it a great place for a dinner date or a casual meal with friends. Highly recommended!
