Absolutely amazing! I'm not usually a fan of African or Caribbean food, but I have to admit that at Mami Wata's I was won over! The service was perfect and the waitress was absolutely lovely ♥️

We were looking for something a bit different and Mama Wata delivered. Our main dishes - the chicken curry and the beef in peanut sauce were both super tasty. We were well looked after too, especially appreciated given our lackluster French. Merci!

I had an exceptional experience at Le Mami-Wata. The service was excellent and so was the food. Lara, was friendly and very knowledgeable on the menu. Her recommendations were spot on. I did not leave anything on the plate. Compliments to the chef and Lara for such an amazing experience. It was my first time in Toulouse and they made sure I had an amazing time. Bonus points; Lara speaks English and that helped a lot for someone that does not speak French fluently. I will highly recommend this restaurant.

La kasbah

15/10/2026: Honestly, I was rather disappointed! The service was very good and the staff lovely, but the portions were quite small! The "Chicken Tajine" only contained one small chicken leg and two potatoes, which was rather disappointing. :/ Plus, the dishes could have been a bit spicier, which is a shame!
14/10/2026: Excellent couscous with a very pleasant welcome. We had a very good time.

African Queen

24/03/2026: The African Queen restaurant in Toulouse is a wonderful discovery for lovers of authentic African cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the braised chicken with plantains, which was perfectly seasoned and a generous portion. The colorful decor immediately creates a warm and exotic atmosphere. A big thank you to Mamadou, who was very welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. A friendly place where you feel right at home, with excellent value for money.
