A charming little restaurant with affordable prices, reminiscent of Asian restaurants before the mass arrival of all-you-can-eat buffets. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, with tasty dishes. I particularly enjoyed the Cambodian-style bobun, which differs from Vietnamese, and the freshly fried chicken fritters in imperial sauce.
The atmosphere is in the expected Chinese style.
The food is excellent, with pronounced flavors and fresh ingredients.
The day we went, it was busy, but the service was top-notch.
One minor complaint, and this is just my personal opinion: I like chili paste, and they didn't have any (as is unfortunately the case in most places in the Vendée region).
Suggestion: offer nam prik pao or sambal oelek. I know it's not Chinese...
Family dinner.
👍👍👍
A good time.
A bit of a wait between the appetizer and the main course.
We ordered several different dishes. 👍👍👍
Better than an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant.
We have very fond memories of the food; it was excellent. I appreciate this restaurant, which offers a varied menu of better quality than all-you-can-eat buffets.
We have been regularly ordering takeaway meals from the Mandarin for years and have never been disappointed. Very good, very generous with a consistently pleasant welcome.
