Le Marais Paris sur Paris

Travelling to Paris for the first leg of our European vacation, we got in late one evening and my wife had already scoped out some spots for us to eat brunch/lunch. So the very first meal we had in Paris might've been the best---it's at least in the running. There was construction and scaffolding all around the restaurant, so the atmosphere took a slight hit from that, but sitting on the sidewalk lunching in the City of Light has its own cachet to overcome even that. The tables were clean, well-placed in the sun, and we were served with great attention. Now, the food: The Burrata pizza we ordered to share was amazing, as was the salade au chévre chaud we also shared. The goat cheese was very rich and the salad was refreshing, while the pizza was warm, comforting, and full of flavor! We really loved this as our first taste of Paris! If we ever visit Paris again, I'd love to come back when there's no scaffolding and construction overhead.

Great food and excellent staff.

Azmi is very kind and treated us very well. We came for pizza with my young daughters at a time when restaurants aren't usually open, and she always served us with a smile. The pizza is delicious, and the price is reasonable for the city. Thank you so much for your kindness and warmth! We will definitely return next time we visit Paris.
