Le Marignan sur Montauban

A very good old-fashioned bistro! It's lovely to have lunch in this traditional brasserie! Super fast service, a wide selection of dishes, and excellent value for money! The servers, who are often also cooks, or even bartenders, are very professional, friendly, and pleasant! €12.30 for a starter, main course, and dessert Eric, the manager, is the same! It's great to sit on the terrace and share a drink or an aperitif! I highly recommend this establishment, a real old-fashioned bistro! Jacques P

Excellent value for money, very good service, a bar, a brasserie... There used to be many of them in our towns and villages. It's always a pleasure to find these kinds of "local" places. Opposite a market on Wednesday mornings, convenient after shopping for a bite to eat and a drink ;-)

We arrived yesterday, just before 2 pm, and asked if the kitchen was still open. Yes, no problem. We ordered two rib-eye steaks with fries from the waiter, who was very friendly and attentive. As we were apparently the last to order, the meal arrived very quickly. Delicious fries and very tender rib-eye steaks, cooked to perfection. A delicious crème catalane (also called crème brûlée...), a house white wine, and a very tasty rosé. The prices were really low. Since there's a large parking lot across the street, we will definitely return on our next visit to Montauban! A very pleasant, typical southern French restaurant. Highly recommended!
