Very warm welcome Couscous was good but could have been cooked more, as couscous should be. It was nevertheless very good: good olives, good lamb, slightly firm vegetables, very good hummus and zbib, very well-cooked semolina, very good mint tea, and a very kind waiter... I enjoyed the music. Oum Kalsoum, my wife being an oriental singer, Le Marrakech brightened up our rainy evening in Brives, choukran jezilan! The couscous was a bit expensive...

If there is one restaurant in Brive-la-Gaillarde, it is this one with a warm welcome and an enormous royal couscous. I really want to recommend it to you.

A taste passport, without boarding or customs! Marrakech, and I must say: I traveled without leaving my chair. A couscous just like you dream of: generous, fragrant, and above all, comforting, like a sweet end to the day after a long journey. The semolina? Light as a promise kept. The vegetables, tender and flavorful, bathed in a broth rich like an old folktale. And the meat... melting, well-seasoned, it had that "come back for more" taste that makes you forget any sense of satiety. The atmosphere? Warm, calm, a little out of time. You feel welcomed, without fuss, as if you were expected. A bit like large family meals, where silence falls naturally because everyone is enjoying their meal. I left with a full stomach and a light spirit, feeling as if I had stepped somewhere between Marrakech and childhood memories. A dish like a parenthesis, a suspended moment. As Proust would say, if his madeleine had been couscous. I recommend it 200%, for foodies, the curious, those tired of fast food... and anyone who needs a dish that's as good for the heart as it is for the stomach.
