My go-to place forever! I recommend the couscous with grilled chicken (and ask to add 2 meatballs, it's better!)

A must-try restaurant in Castres, open for over 35 years and still just as good, especially the various couscous dishes. My favorite is the couscous with grilled chicken skewers and lemon.

We were delighted by the welcome, the quality of the food, the generous portions, and the value for money. Our meal cost €55 for two people: drinks, two main courses (lamb couscous and a merguez sausage platter), and two desserts. We were able to take home the leftover couscous, which was very generous, in a neat doggy bag. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.

The couscous was good quality and tasty, but nothing special. I felt the pieces of meat (chicken in this case) could have been more generous, and above all, the price was too high for couscous (takeaway) of equivalent quality to what you can find at a market for much less.

Excellent couscous. The couscous is delicately cooked with herbs. The meats are excellent! The service is very friendly.
