Le Massala sur Le Havre

Back after three years at this restaurant. The decor hasn't changed, still bland, tables cluttered with equipment. A plus today was the pleasant background music, evoking a touch of sunny holidays. The service was adequate, the two planters punches we had as an aperitif were well-made and very good, the dishes were simply presented but tasty, truly a taste of the islands. A chef and a waiter (father and son) managed the service calmly without rushing us. Certainly, don't judge a book by its exterior and interior decor, but what matters is that the food is good, and that's what's essential.

We pre-ordered our meal online at a very attractive price, and to our great surprise, we were warmly welcomed and had a delicious meal. We watched the chef at work, taking great care in his cooking and managing the service single-handedly. Hats off to his professionalism! The restaurant was spotless and the decor was beautiful. There was no wait, and the service was quick. We'll be back for dinner tomorrow.

A very good, traditional restaurant. I came as part of a gift voucher and I wasn't disappointed at all. The staff were very kind and welcoming.
