We came out of curiosity, no regrets, top-notch waiter (Vinicius), I highly recommend it, excellent red and white wine, cozy atmosphere, a very good evening spent.

The service was fine, but the food was a disaster. It was incredibly slow and mediocre at best. We waited almost an hour after ordering to be served, and when it finally arrived, there was no sea bream. Meat tartare? Not an option. So, what could possibly be served on time? Frankly, I don't recommend it, but given the overall rating, it's entirely deserved.

After a long and tiring day exploring the breathtaking Calanques, we were hungry and looking for a good restaurant. We chose Le Mistral, a pizzeria located directly on the picturesque port of Cassis. Although it's in a very touristy area, we were assured that the quality of the food was excellent. When we arrived, the place was packed, which gave us optimism. We lucked out and managed to get a table with a fantastic view of the port; the atmosphere at sunset was simply magical. What pleasantly surprised us from the start was the staff. Despite the crowds and obvious hustle and bustle, the employees were remarkably friendly and attentive. Our server greeted us with a warm smile and took the time to explain the menu and answer our questions. We felt very welcome and cared for despite the busy setting. The staff's friendliness made the visit enjoyable, even though the pizzeria was very busy. We opted for the Pizza Royale, a classic choice with cooked ham and mushrooms, enhanced by a fresh egg. The wait was reasonable, and our anticipation grew. When the pizza was served, it was visually stunning. The topping was generous, the tomato sauce a vibrant red, and the cheese perfectly melted. The fresh egg, carefully placed in the center with a still slightly runny yolk, was the perfect finishing touch. The first bite was a real treat. The ingredients were of excellent quality. The tomato sauce was rich and spicy, the cooked ham was flavorful, and the mushrooms were fresh and aromatic. The egg added a creamy, smooth note that blended beautifully with the other toppings. Each bite was an explosion of perfectly harmonized flavors. It was obvious they hadn't skimped on the ingredients. However, the disappointment came with the pizza dough. While the topping was worth every penny, the base unfortunately couldn't keep up. I expected a thin, crispy crust, but it was soft and floppy. It was so soft that the pizza slices hung loose as soon as you tried to lift them, risking the toppings falling out. It lacked the crispness and resilience you expect from a good crust. The crust itself tasted good, but the consistency made the eating experience very difficult. This was a shame, as the quality of the toppings was exceptional. In conclusion, our visit to Le Mistral was a mixed experience. The location on the harbor and the friendly, attentive staff were big pluses. The toppings on our Pizza Royale were sensational and demonstrated high quality. Unfortunately, the positive experience was marred by the soft, limp pizza dough. With a crispy base, this pizza would have been absolutely perfect. Nevertheless, I would recommend the restaurant if you want to enjoy the unique atmosphere of Cassis and are willing to overlook the texture of the dough. Übersetzer das auf deutsch.

Two late afternoons spent having an aperitif at this bar, with a beautiful sunset, very pleasant and knowledgeable waiters. A lovely terrace, sunshine, smiles and good drinks, that's what we were looking for and what we found at the Mistral!

The cocktails are very very good, I love them so much!!! I'm super happy.

We ate very well but the waiters were quite vulgar towards women...
