Le Moderne sur Piolenc

15/06/2024: We are here twice during our week’s stay and the first time had pizzas and they were great, simple and wholesome. Second time we chose something a bit more unusual and it wasn’t so good. My wife had veal in a lemon sauce and is was very poor, she described it as tasting soapy and, yes, it was like lemon washing up liquid. I had Mixte Frite, calamari and prawns. The calamari was bland with no seasoning whatsoever. The prawns were big and juicy as expected but curiously tasteless. The outside seating area is very much targeted at being a family area with lots of big groups, often with kids. Fine for a quick, simple bite, but there are much better restaurants in Piolenc

12/05/2024: Moins intimiste qu'avant, presque un fast food, heureusement la qualité est encore là. Nous réservons par téléphone, nous arrivons et l'on nous installe dans arrière salle sans fenêtres. La salle est remplie de touristes de passage qui n'ont même pas réservé. Même pas le pilipili de proposé.
