Un restaurant tranquille au décor simple en plein cœur du centre animé de Cherbourg le soir. Un très bon accueil même tard. Pizza délicieuse comme le burger et la salade. Et super œufs mayonnaise ! Tout ça a un prix très attractif.

A very good pizzeria with burgers, pasta and meat for those who are not fans of Italy. The service is decent and the prices are neither too high nor too low, the small terrace is very nice in summer. Possibility of parking for free in front of the town hall in the evening, 2 minutes on foot.

We were upstairs. Very pretty. Phew the large group of around twenty people arrived when we were leaving… The pizza and salad were very good On the other hand, the proportions were too small for our taste. The tarte Tatin for dessert was very good. The waiter seemed very tired. Maybe because of the end of the season…(?)

L'emplacement près du musée de la mer, le décor, le service, les prix et surtout les plats : tout était parfait ! Restaurant d'habitués où les touristes sont très bien accueillis.

It's OK. Quite a basic menu, but my omelette was good. My husbands burger not so great. The cheapest carafe of wine was quite drinkable. Children at next table making a noise, so not restful. And not a great view out the front, but it was not expensive.

Great discovery. Excellent pizza and good value for money. The servers are smiling and discreet. If you tickle them nicely, you will surely get a little crazy from them. Really a good address.

L' Ermitage

02/12/2025: A very warm welcome. Royal couscous; I loved the delicate texture of the semolina; the fresh vegetables, perfectly cooked. Merguez sausage, chicken, beef, and lamb skewers... all cooked to perfection. Excellent value for money, with fresh ingredients. A chilled Boulaouane rosé to accompany it all; I had a truly delightful time. The best part was the elegant chairs with their "L'Ermitage" style backs. A lovely place for excellent couscous that I will definitely visit regularly.
25/11/2025: A warm welcome awaited us at this restaurant where we ordered couscous to go and thoroughly enjoyed it. The vegetables were fresh and full of flavor, the meat was excellent, and the semolina was fine. An excellent place to enjoy couscous in a simple but impeccably clean setting. Many thanks for this excellent couscous!
