Friendly, dynamic and pleasant welcome (smiles are there). The plates that are served are very generous and made with good quality products, which explains the price. Great atmosphere.

I highly recommend this place, the food is excellent and the dishes are plentiful. Big strong point on the service and welcome. It's really nice to see a boss who loves his job, always helpful and with a big smile. One of the best restaurants on the Ile de Ré for sure!! Priscilla and David from Cotentin ✌️

We had a lovely family evening meal. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations but we turned up about 715pm and was seated straight away. Plenty of seating inside and out. Very friendly and efficient service. I had the mussels which were plentiful and couldn’t finish as so many. Very fresh and delicious. The chips aren’t great so would suggest asking for new potatoes or something different. The bread is very good. My wife had fish and chips, the fish was very good. My daughter had the pizza which she enjoyed. Overall a very good experience and would recommend

08/09/2024: First of all the employees were very friendly and trying to do their utmost . Food was good!
06/09/2024: It was good, but nothing special either. The waiter wasn't very welcoming towards us. It's amazing that it seems to be completely booked every evening.

Restaurant l'Océan

21/08/2024: A place found by chance and to remember in our tablets. Very popular restaurant, a remarkable table which corresponds to what I expect from a restaurant. I haven't 'tested' the hotel. Very very friendly staff. I will return there with great pleasure.
14/08/2024: Fabulous meal for a family Birthday, impeccable service, great food and lovely ambiance and surroundings. We all had 3 courses each of which was beautifully presented, fresh and delicious.
