Le Moulin de Ponceau sur Chartres

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival, the table service was excellent, and the cuisine was very refined. I highly recommend this very good restaurant.

An idyllic setting, practically on the water's edge, for a birthday lunch for two on a Saturday in December overlooking the Eure River... the welcome was pleasant, the restaurant superb. We opted for the tasting menu. We were a little taken aback by the two starters; the balance of flavors wasn't quite right for our taste (too bitter). The main courses were much better, even if the portions were a bit small, culminating in a truly delightful dessert. Everything was beautifully presented on elegant tableware, a real feast for the eyes. Three excellent glasses of wine accompanied our meal. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience thanks to the setting, the ambiance, and the service; a little less impressive regarding the meal, which we expect to be more demanding given the price.

We had dinner on Friday evening for my birthday, a truly excellent meal. The mackerel escabeche was exceptional, the chocolate and coffee dessert was superb, and the waiter was lovely and efficient. All accompanied by a Pouilly-Fumé wine, a very pleasant evening. Thank you all.

I booked this restaurant for a dinner for 7 people. It's a lovely place, with a warm welcome, excellent service, and delicious, well-presented dishes—everything is homemade. I highly recommend this establishment; there's parking nearby.

I would have liked to give it 4.5 out of 5. We had a lovely time in a pleasant and nicely decorated setting. We appreciated the conversation with the waiter. Although we didn't particularly like the taste of the tasting menu, the freshness of the ingredients, the balance, and the culinary skill were evident. It was a worthwhile experience, thank you.

A truly wonderful culinary experience. We opted for the Discovery Menu (2 starters, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts). While not the most budget-friendly option, it was a real treat that allowed us to sample some refined dishes. The welcome and service were impeccable, and the setting was magnificent: lunch in the veranda overlooking the Eure River with a breathtaking view. A truly lovely family outing.

The setting is idyllic, the dishes are refined, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. A huge congratulations to the entire team, and a special mention to Élodie for her desserts, which were simply delicious! Honestly, there's nothing to criticize; everything was perfect from beginning to end. I highly recommend it! 👏✨
