Le Moulin des Écrevisses sur Ailly-Sur-Noye

We had a wonderful time at Moulin des Écrevisses. The setting is beautiful and very welcoming, perfect for a romantic meal or dinner with friends. We enjoyed the cuisine, with refined, original, and beautifully presented dishes, despite some initial reservations about certain items. It was our first time dining out. The service was also very pleasant, professional, and attentive throughout the meal. A truly wonderful gastronomic experience that we highly recommend.

Everything was fine except for one disappointment: the lack of consistency between what we received and the service offered during the booking process for a family meal. The presentation, photos, and dessert service were supposed to be buffet-style, with the option of one slice of each of the two cakes. The table frame was supposed to be rounded at both ends, which wasn't the case. That's why I'm only giving it 4 stars.

This restaurant is very accessible from Amiens, with a rustic yet modern setting. The cuisine is excellent, original (a pea sorbet, among other things), and beautifully presented. The service is a bit stiff (the waiters, trying too hard, are a little over the top). The prices are rather high, but largely justified by the quality of the food.

Another exceptional culinary experience. Dishes with sophisticated, original, and delicious flavor combinations. Beautiful tableware and friendly, attentive staff. A truly delightful moment for our entire table. With our highest praise!

The "Emotional 5" menu was interesting, except for the cheese, which was particularly 'aggressive' for me and somewhat spoiled the enjoyment of the other, more delicate dishes. The background music was annoying, but perhaps table 15 is located near the speakers?

This is the kind of restaurant that feels special from the moment you walk in. The setting is elegant but still warm, with a beautiful mix of brick walls, modern details, and a very intimate atmosphere. The presentation of the dishes was excellent, and the whole meal felt carefully thought out rather than simply served. What stood out most was the attention to detail — from the table setting to the pace of the service. It’s definitely more of a place for a memorable dinner than a quick meal, and the experience matched that expectation.

I knew the definition of culinary art...and last night it was there! 😀 The visuals, the taste buds! 🤩 Congratulations to the entire kitchen team...and also for the warm welcome and excellent service! We've known this place since it opened and it hasn't lost its soul...a magnificent place!

The place is magical, 5 stars++. The menu is only available on Sundays with a tasting menu of 4, 5, or 7 courses. The numerous staff are welcoming and attentive, but there were occasional oversights in the presentation of the dishes. The drinks we had (wine and champagne) were excellent. The dishes were flavorful and surprising, but in my opinion, the portions were too small (one oyster, for example). Still or sparkling tap water is charged at €1, which is a bit stingy considering the price of the meal. Overall, I was left wanting more, in both senses of the word. Given the Chef's potential, I would have liked a more traditional menu and more classic dishes.
