EDIT: back in August 2026, still great. Fresh products, very refined, again a great experience. A family restaurant in a small village/town a short drive away from the more touristy areas of Charente. A lovely menu on the terrace a warm August evening. We ended up there a bit by chance, I'll certainly go back on purpose.

The food is excellent, worthy of the best restaurants. However, this creates a disconnect with the setting and atmosphere. It's a shame.

The presentation is elegant and makes for truly beautiful dishes. It's excellent and the portions are generous—a real treat. We will definitely book again if we return to the area. There were ten of us, and we all unanimously agreed that every dish was excellent. The taste and presentation were worthy of a true gourmet restaurant, but at a very affordable price. The service was also impeccable and very friendly. An experience we highly recommend. Just one suggestion: it would be nice to add a regional appellation to the wine list.
