We went there for coffee and hot chocolate before our Christmas bath, and we received a very warm welcome with a great team atmosphere and really helpful staff. Thank you!

Friendly and very welcoming service. The cappuccino is excellent. The seats under the veranda offer a beautiful sea view.

Not much to add regarding the star rating; we've known the place to be warmer and with a more extensive menu, but the food was decent enough, though it's starting to show its age. I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. It would be good to see a revitalization.

Can't go wrong ordering mussels with fries. Phenomenal amount, steamed perfectly. The fish, rake or skate, had a texture like spaghetti squash, and was very good also.

Welcomed with a smile, we settled into the warmth of the benches, facing the sea. We were able to bring our breakfast and enjoy drinks. The hot chocolate and coffee were good. The orange juice is homemade, but diluted with water and ice cubes, and €7.50 for orange juice is a bit steep...

5-star ambiance: With a little luck, you'll get a table with a fantastic view of the sunset. We ate well on two visits. The moule fries arrived quickly and were delicious – a large portion that's filling!

Family lunch. The service was very pleasant and attentive. The view was splendid. We ate very well (accessible dishes like burgers / rib-eye steaks etc.), we particularly enjoyed the fries. The restrooms have a changing table. In short, we enjoyed our stay at this establishment.

15/11/2025: We come to Les Paillottes every time we're in Coutainville for the weekend with the team. We always have a great time, whether it's for a coffee on the terrace or a beer upstairs. We were there last night to watch the rugby match. We're always warmly welcomed by the staff (smiles, humor, and discretion when needed). Thank you, don't change a thing!

14/11/2024: Very expensive 26€ for rump steak… ok well cooked, with a few new potatoes, but frankly these are off-the-charts prices. We are in Agon-Coutainville, where only the late Madame Leprieur ensures the reputation of the town. Don't go overboard, even in Paris we don't charge these prices.. This is the Place to be… to be plucked from your wallet! Oh and don't ask for the wifi code, it's just for the restaurant staff, the wifi.. In short, we are in a town where the soon-to-be-decorated youth think they have to go to the plancha.. Well I won't go anymore, keep your golden rump steak!
14/11/2024: A place to be and the gins and tonics are great....always smiling staff....
