Le Normand sur Chevreuse

Hello, I'm giving this place an "above average" rating. It was a couple's dinner a few days ago. The rating is average, but rest assured, the food is quite good, though nothing original for this price range. The owners' welcome and empathy weren't very pleasant (it was chilly that evening, but we were refused entry to the restaurant, the menu for the two set menus wasn't up-to-date, etc.). So, the atmosphere wasn't very relaxed, and the drink prices were exorbitant in my opinion. If you choose a simple pastis, it's more expensive than in a Michelin-starred restaurant. It's a shame because the food is decent, but the price is too high for a set menu, especially since there's no à la carte menu. I'm not saying you shouldn't go, but make up your own mind.

Warm welcome, pleasant and efficient service. Excellent food in this price range. A lovely place both indoors and outdoors (garden). Well located in the city center. Parking nearby. I recommend it.

Exceptional restaurant, everything was perfect!

We had lunch in a beautiful garden (but the dining room is also very nicely decorated) and the meal was delicious with pleasant service. Fresh ingredients. I recommend it. A minor drawback was the price of the coffee (€4.50) and the price of the wine (by the glass).

We discovered this restaurant by chance and had a truly wonderful culinary experience. On the plate, it was flawless. The cuisine manages the remarkable feat of being both delicious and generous. You can taste the quality of the ingredients, enhanced by the chef's passion, with perfect cooking and balanced seasoning. Each bite was a veritable festival of flavors. To top it all off, the welcome and service were simply exemplary: friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We will definitely return with our children. Thank you again to the entire team for this very pleasant experience.

If you are exploring this beautiful town just 40 minutes away from Paris, you absolutely must stop here. It is the perfect place to relax and recharge during a day of sightseeing. We had a fantastic 3-course lunch that exceeded all expectations. The menu features unique signature dishes that are both creative and expertly prepared. Every plate was a work of art! • Asparagus Cream Soup: Silky, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. • Salmon: Cooked to perfection with a wonderful balance of flavors. • Panna Cotta: A divine way to end the meal—absolutely exquisite. The service was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even more special. We will definitely be coming back! Highly recommended!

Refined dishes and impeccable service

A very warm welcome, all the staff are very friendly. The menu only offers set menus, no à la carte options. The set menus offer excellent value for money; everything we were offered was delicious! I think it's a fair price for what's served. Thanks again! 👍🏻
