Le Pacha sur Le Havre

13/07/2026: Le Nuage dans la Tasse is a place I frequent when I'm in Le Havre. The food is simple and very good quality, the set menus are often appealing, and the service is friendly. But perhaps it was because of the summer holidays (July 2026), but I went there two days ago and the staff (the replacements?) had changed. It was 12:30 when I arrived, alone in the dining room. Several tables for two were still free, and I asked to be seated. A young man had to ask permission from what appeared to be his boss to let me take a seat, and the man, in his fifties, as red-faced as he was pot-bellied, barely looked at me and replied with an annoyed air, "If you want..." I sat for ten seconds in the assigned seat and then left, disgusted. For me, service and attention to people are the most important things in a café or restaurant. I hope this miserable team will clear out quickly before the start of the new school year, in favor of those who are usually so nice to me!
