Le Palanquin sur Paris

Small family owned restaurant with excellent food. The owners were very friendly. There was a small mistake in the order, we nonetheless kept the plate and thus the kids had an ice cream from the owner's stash (there are no ice creams as desserts). Last but not least, the food was excellent.

For 20 years, the Palanquin has been the setting for our most joyful family and friendly moments. From the moment you book, you feel welcomed and expected. As soon as you step through the door, the journey can begin... a taste and human adventure will transport you. Everytime. Everything is exquisite, homemade, fresh, full of flavors. In short, run there!

Super Vietnamese restaurant, excellent cuisine, low prices for the quality of the products. Family cuisine made with love. Atmosphere provided by the boss himself, second-degree attention required, the mother and sister (jade) are there to ensure the smooth running of the establishment. We will come back!!!

Incredible aromatic foods and wonderfully delightful owners. This is Viet food like no other, and perhaps better than some diasporas where I’m from in the US. Owned by a brother sister duo who work as a team are both charming and hilarious. My family and I enjoyed the best of Paris here!

Amazing experience celebrating our honeymoon here! The food was aromatic and delightful! After first being in Italy with my new husband — and not being able to eat dairy products (a curse I know), my partner and I met my parents in Paris and immediately needed Vietnamese food. This was the dream find as it was such an awesome experience!

Very nice experience in this small chic Vietnamese restaurant run by Eurasians. The servers are enthusiastic and very friendly. They don't hesitate to tell us about their story and tell us little jokes to lighten the atmosphere. Knowing that I'm not used to having communicative servers in other Asian restaurants, my friend and I really appreciated their joie de vivre. We thought the starters were main courses given the prices! Surprising, but we laughed a lot 🤣 So we had a bobun and a pork satay in coconut milk with extra rice. Very nice discovery of pork satay revisited in the French style. The meat was melting and very tender. The sauce was deliciously seasoned, the rice accompanied it wonderfully. Fortunately the waiter gave me a spoon otherwise I wouldn't have gotten away with the chopsticks. The bobun was very good too, even if my mother's is always my favorite! Sorry 😄 Thanks to the waiters and the cook for giving us an unforgettable experience in this restaurant, as it was my first and perhaps my last meal with my friend.
