Le Pangalane sur La Roche-Sur-Yon

A true gem! I discovered this restaurant today and I'm absolutely thrilled. The owner is lovely, welcoming, and above all, incredibly talented in the kitchen. I highly recommend this place, both for the quality of the food and the warm welcome. A must-try! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't wait to go back!!

We had a wonderful time at Le Pangalane, a restaurant that transported us straight to Madagascar thanks to Patrick's authentic and delicious cuisine! He's friendly, welcoming, always smiling, and passionate, taking the time to chat with his customers. You can tell he puts his heart and soul into his dishes! The Malagasy cuisine he offers is simply delicious: rich flavors, subtle spices, and generous portions that introduced us to some specialties. We loved the originality of the flavor combinations. Just one small drawback: the pork in one of the dishes was a little fatty. Note: Our lunch lasted from 12:30 pm to 3:15 pm, as Patrick was working alone that day, handling both the cooking and the service. If you're in a hurry, allow extra time!

We hadn't planned to eat at their restaurant, but they welcomed us despite it being closed. The chef was lovely, and the reception was great too. Honestly, nothing to complain about. The meal was delicious, no complaints whatsoever! I highly recommend it.

We enjoyed discovering Malagasy cuisine during our stay in La Roche. The welcome was warm and friendly, and the location was convenient, just steps from the market. We even visited the shop next to the restaurant to sample the Malagasy products.

Warm welcome. Homemade food, but a little more effort on the presentation would be appreciated: serving warm samosas on top of the wilted salad... The coconut sauce is delicious, but it's a shame to reheat the rice in the microwave. The chicken was undercooked.

What a surprise to discover a Malagasy restaurant in La Roche-sur-Yon! A chef who is truly passionate and generous. A romazava just like the one from my childhood and sambos that remind me of coming home from school. It's wonderful in its aromas, flavors, and colors. A one-way ticket to the highlands, thank you!
