Excellent welcome, service, and of course... the food. I'd be tempted to say, "as usual." However, "as usual" is always exceptional.

The restaurant is very well located. As its name suggests, the view is magnificent. The restaurant is situated next to the old town hall, the church, and a cave below. The staff is very kind, professional, and welcoming. (Thank you for the lovely candle!) The meal was delicious, a feast for both the palate and the eyes. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Vegetarians and vegans will also find plenty to enjoy.

A magnificent venue with a pleasant, smiling, and discreet yet efficient team. I highly recommend it; the cuisine is exceptional in both flavor and presentation. A thousand thanks for making our meal an unforgettable experience. Our guests were charmed by the view and by the refined, delicate, and flavorful cuisine.

The setting, the welcome, and the food... everything was truly excellent. A really great time with the family, with plenty of space between the tables allowing for privacy.

I'll start with the positives: the view, obviously, and the service. They are friendly and efficient. The time between courses was short, with very little waiting. The amuse-bouches during the aperitif included a very tasty Monbazillac jelly. Apart from the dishes listed below as negative points, the food is delicious. The dishes are well-seasoned. As for the negative points, which made me decide to give 3 stars: a dirty water glass (a noticeable stain at the bottom). We ordered a beer as an aperitif, only to be told we had to change it because they were out (at which point they removed it from the menu), and without giving us the menu again, they offered us a beer or a draft beer. The beef dish was very lukewarm, and even when I asked for it rare, I got something more like medium. The accompanying mashed potatoes were dry (as if they had sat too long before being served). For dessert, while the Rosa Selva was good, I had to send the Saint Honoré back to the kitchen. The puff pastry was over-caramelized (burnt) and consequently had a very bitter taste. It didn't look anything like the picture on the menu. They brought me another one, and this time it was better. Regarding the restrooms, be careful because the toilet bowl cleaning system leaves drips. The toilet air freshener wasn't very well concealed, and I got the spray on my feet. They have certainly modernized (tablet menus, a service robot), but a good menu and explanations of the dishes during service would make it feel less like a chain restaurant.

The local institution for a business lunch or family meal. Excellent menu and quality service.
