For us, these were the best pizzas in the area, by far and for a long time. The dough was excellent, cooked in a wood-fired oven, and the toppings were very flavorful. We ordered six or seven times this summer, and unfortunately, each time it was a disappointment. The pizzas were considerably reduced in size (they were no longer round and barely took up two-thirds of the box), the dough was overcooked or even burnt, and the toppings, all pizzas combined, were very bland. We decided to continue ordering from Pascalou during the summer, hoping it was just a bad patch, perhaps due to the holidays, a replacement in the kitchen, or something else, but by the start of the school year, the problem persisted. We finally decided to order our pizzas—without conviction, but no choice—elsewhere now, with regret, because for years, to our taste, no one had matched Pascalou. On the other hand, the staff's friendliness, whether on the phone or directly at the pizzeria, is nothing to write home about. Really, it's the quality of the pizzas that makes us stop being customers. Too bad.
