A very nice establishment and very pleasant staff!

There were three of us. We ate inside, which had a lovely vintage decor. The meats were cooked perfectly, and the portions were generous for the price. We'll be back to try other dishes and sample the cocktails.

When you're hungry, and you haven't booked a table in advance in Toulouse, there's always a table waiting for you at Café Chouchou. We've eaten there at least twenty times and we've never felt it wasn't worth it. It's a sure thing: the ingredients are always high quality, you get a good portion, and the service is top-notch. It's my go-to spot in Toulouse! Don't change a thing! Edit on June 24, 2026: a place I regret leaving! A veal chop that they say weighs 400 grams but is actually much smaller, overcooked, and yet when you point it out to a waiter, nothing happens. The service is unfortunately declining. It's truly regrettable.
