Le Paul Bert sur Saint-Ouen

A lovely spot at the Saint-Ouen flea market, with pleasant and friendly staff. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I loved my chicken ballotine with its wonderful jus and chicken feet, and also a very good pineapple mille-feuille 😋. A family atmosphere with the owner and her daughter serving with big smiles. Go there in droves!

The best thing is the atmosphere and its proximity to the flea market. The food is good, but excellent. The worst thing, I'd say, is the service.

We stopped there randomly with two colleagues, getting lost in the aisles, drawn in by the smell of mulled wine. It was a fantastic experience! The waiter was excellent, the mulled wine was delicious, and the hot chocolate was perfect—real melted chocolate and a generous dollop of homemade whipped cream with little chocolate pearls for a nice crunch. And the waiter was super friendly; we could laugh and joke with him, just what you'd expect in this kind of place, and he gave us great advice on where to spend our money. We were looking for a record store for vinyl, and he even took the time to call ahead to check and let them know we were coming so we'd get a great welcome, which we did—we left the record store full of energy! As for the rest of the place, we didn't eat there, but the menu looked quite interesting and the prices were more than reasonable. So, personally, and my colleagues too, we highly recommend it.
