A bar restaurant which is great as a bar, welcoming, pleasant, friendly but as for the restaurant side... it's quite surprising. Not having a photo of their menu on Google, when my family and I saw 3 main courses and 3 desserts and that's it. We were already a little surprised. But that already means things are surely homemade. As for the drinks, they are local (Ardèche) I highly recommend just maybe a little expensive in my humble opinion. Coming back to the meal, there was no starter only dishes so 16€ for a dish including 1 vegetarian and 1 with meat and the third was 8€ because for children I imagine. However, the quantities were not really there... for 16€ in any case knowing that behind it there is only a dessert. Relatively disappointed with the experience, the village is lovely to visit. Thank you anyway for the welcome.

Simple but tasty dishes Vegetarian plate and Ardèche plate. Very good value for money. Copiously garnished and beautifully presented. We will come back. Thank you

Just perfect ! Small, mastered menu with local products. Excellent, fast and friendly service We LOVED it (and what's more, we're crazy demanding) :)

We ate on Tuesday evening July 23, well received by Diego and his son, the food was great, the owner was great, she was a very good cook and Diego was super nice, they offered us the digestive, thank you Dominique 👍🍻

Beautiful little village of Boucieu-Le-Roi 👑. For a little morning stroll, in the fresh air. In the afternoon it’s full of rain (e.g. July). If you're lucky like us (during the summer season, a day with a little fresh air), otherwise bring a hat 🧢, glasses 😎, water 💧and sun cream 🧴. 6 minutes on foot, 🦶🏻 you have just below the Vélo 🚲 Rail 🚃 of the Gorges du Doux. Very nice little restaurant 😊. We had the special of the day, for €20: Starter + Hot Main + Dessert 🍮 (photos below). We were seated in the shade, the terrace in front of the restaurant. Under the lime trees. A young, smiling waiter took care of us. If you stick to today's suggestions, like we did. The service is fast, without too much waiting. I recommend, we had something to eat after the bike 🚲 rail, around 1 p.m.~.

Quiet and comfortable place, in the heart of the town. It has a terrace outside in the square, and you can usually park easily in front. If not, there is a large parking lot not far away.

Camping De La Vallee Du Doux

15/09/2024: Very clean but lots of mosquitoes
30/08/2024: Very nice little campsite with lots of shade. We stayed there for 1 week and were warmly welcomed by the managers. The sanitary facilities are well maintained. The tent sites are well demarcated and of all sizes, you can choose the one that suits you best and on some of them there are picnic tables. Possibility of playing mini-golf and eating lunch and dinner at the campsite snack bar (the fries and homemade pizzas are delicious). The campsite is 15 minutes from Lamastre where you can do your shopping. There is direct access to the river (the Doux) in which you can bathe and swim if you find the deeper corners. The rail bike and the Ardèche train are a few dozen meters from the campsite. Be careful not to sleep late because the train shows up from 9:30 a.m. until 8-9 p.m. The road is close but not very busy. The nights are calm and relaxing, we hear all kinds of animals. We recommend this campsite for a stay in Ardèche.
