Service rapide, prix correct
One of the few great experiences I had in Paris. The metro to my hostel was closed and I had to take an Uber. Each Uber I ordered canceled because I didn’t speak French. Rude! I had to walk 45 minutes from the metro to my hostel and my phone almost died. It was 1 AM & I stumbled upon this joint in the cold rain.
The barkeep was nice. He spoke English, let me charge my phone, and stayed open later. I bought a round of tequila r shots for the remaining patrons and they conversed with me in English. They could tell I was Texan and it made me feel special. We all got drunk and I threw up outside. This made the remainder of my 15 minute walk home fun.
I stopped at some Muslim kebab sandwich shop. Oh my god, they made the best drunk food. Chicken shawarma on a baguette with fries and spicy sauce, Mayo, and ketchup for €7.50. Some of the best food I had in Paris. God bless Muslims. I like them more than Parisians.
I ate my meal in the lobby of my hostel and ran into my roommate, Nate. What a cool guy from Idaho. He used to be Mormon, but he now travels the world and id agnostic. He lives in Idaho, but what a cool guy. We had fun getting high together and drunk. I won’t forget how nice the people at this bar was. This never happens in the stinky and OVERRATED city of Paris
