An idyllic, calm and friendly place

I wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant and hotel Le Petit Kohlberg. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and impeccably clean. The food offers excellent value for money, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The staff is attentive, smiling, and genuinely friendly—a real pleasure. Special mention goes to the mother-daughter duo who run the establishment: touching, professional, and authentic... a rare quality these days. A place where you feel at home. Come, enjoy... and above all, smile. 😃

Birthday meal for 18 people. I received a warm welcome from the staff, the table was beautifully set, and the meal was delicious despite the short time between courses. I had chosen a starter, a main course, and a vacherin glacé (ice cream dessert), and I was never offered the price of a set menu rather than the overpriced à la carte options! The vacherin glacé was €250 / €12.50 per slice for 20 people, while we were only 16 adults and 2 children's menus with dessert. And to top it all off, the owner called me three times the next day while I was at work, not letting me get a word in edgewise, yelling at me, and I finally hung up! No compensation whatsoever, never again to this place!!!!!

We stumbled upon this lovely and peaceful hotel by chance. The reception was very friendly, and the staff member escorted us to our room. Dinner was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Even though all the tables were occupied, the service staff remained attentive throughout. Hats off to them! Breakfast was plentiful. We will definitely return later this year.
