The salad was served in a sort of small, square bowl, with all the dressing pooling at the bottom and making the end of the dish inedible. A salad served on a large plate would allow the different ingredients to be separated and for the customer to season as they wish.
Furthermore, the dressing should be left to the customer (there was far too much dressing in my dish).
The restaurant is quiet, and the staff is discreet and professional.
The prices are a bit high for a simple dish.

The decor was dated and there were many (too many?) choices on the menu, but the service was very professional, pleasant, and quick. The dishes and desserts were good.

We've been to Portofino twice already, once for our two-year anniversary and most recently yesterday for Valentine's Day. We've always been very satisfied with their food; it's delicious and plentiful. We also appreciated the spacious seating (not packed in like sardines at all 😜) and the friendly service. We'll definitely be back.

It's a shame the main menu wasn't offered on Valentine's Day, which increased the bill. The cost remains high.
The service and the food were nonetheless very good and plentiful.

A very large restaurant claiming to serve typical Portuguese dishes.
In fact, they also offer Italian and French cuisine.
The dishes we chose, two cod dishes prepared differently, were of average quality; one wasn't hot enough. We asked for mashed potatoes as a side dish, but it wasn't available as it wasn't on the menu, even though the daily special was mashed potatoes and a duck skewer. They offered me green beans as a seasonal vegetable—in winter!—and I ended up with a mediocre mixed vegetable dish.
Fortunately, the desserts were very good. The service was adequate, nothing more.

My wife and I really enjoyed our evening at this restaurant, the menu had a variety of dishes to choose from and the wine menu was good too.
The staff were friendly and we all tried to communicate with as much of each others language as we could (my French is not good unfortunately).
We enjoyed our experience so much that we will try to schedule a night at a nearby hotel on our way back from Spain.
