The food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients. The service was impeccable, with a very funny and attentive waiter.

After trying many restaurants in Calvados since we moved here ten years ago, Le Pot d'Etain has become THE go-to spot! Fresh, expertly prepared ingredients, a very friendly and smiling owner... We've never been disappointed, unlike many other places on the Côte Fleurie. Their weekday lunch special (€18) far surpasses anything you could find elsewhere, on par with another establishment... In short, we shouldn't spread the word too much so we can continue to enjoy it! It would be a shame, being practically neighbors!

We received a very warm welcome from the owner and the waitress.
We enjoyed excellent Norman lamb chops and peeled prawns (a rare treat!) plus a baked apple, all very generous portions and served quickly. I highly recommend their homemade teurgoule, cooked for 3 hours and 15 minutes – a true delight for the taste buds.
The setting was idyllic, very rustic, nestled in lush greenery.

A timeless place, part restaurant, part inn, wonderfully welcoming, both in its hospitality and the delicious flavors offered by each dish. A truly enjoyable €38 set menu, and a terrace that provides a perfectly valid reason to return in the summer. Highly recommended...

What can I say? Everything was perfect!
We've been several times.
The first time was to celebrate my grandmother's 90th birthday in March 2025—an incredible moment! There were 17 of us, and we ate very well; the service was superb.
We were so impressed that we went back this year, at the beginning of May, to celebrate my 40th birthday.
This time there were 19 of us. The organization beforehand was very smooth; Mr. and Mrs. Bourriene are incredibly accommodating.
We had an Extra menu: from the appetizer to the dessert, it was flawless! The quality and quantity are always excellent; it's a real treat.
Thank you all for making our moment unforgettable 🙏✨
We will definitely be back.
