Le Quattrocento sur Ceret

⭐⭐⭐ Two completely different experiences… We went to Quattrocento twice, and unfortunately, the difference between the two evenings was quite striking. Tuesday evening, no complaints! The owner was there, and the service was quick and efficient. We were served by a young woman with glasses, who was very responsive and pleasant. The pizzas were good, and the salad was generous. We were delighted and thought we had found a great place. Friday evening, a huge disappointment. The owner was absent, and we were served by a tall young man. He was friendly, but sorely lacking in attention and involvement with the customers. The surrounding tables hadn't been cleared, despite the passing time, and two hours for three people is far too long. When it came time to pay, he didn't even have the bill and didn't remember serving us… Such a lack of attention and follow-through is unprecedented for us. As for the food, my pizza was particularly bland: I had to add salt and pepper, a first for me in a restaurant. The Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce) was also very disappointing. It's a real shame, because our first experience had made us want to come back. But with such a difference between the two evenings, we're now hesitant to try it again.

Good pizzas, lovely shaded terrace in a pedestrian square under beautiful, large plane trees – a great time!

One of the few restaurants I know that still offers a set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) for €16! Great value for money and a very warm welcome, plus it's located in a beautiful village on a lovely, shady little square.

It is lovely to sit on the beautiful square in Ceret; you can eat very good pizzas here. The pasta was overcooked. Service is fine and fast.

Great place! One of the employees served me a free glass of water in the middle of the feria; thanks to him I was able to stay hydrated despite what I imagine was a fairly high demand. Thank you to them for their professionalism!

An unpretentious restaurant, but you eat outside in a large square where there are two other restaurants. Yet this one was packed. Very good pizzas, a friendly and helpful owner...simple pleasure. A friendly and unpretentious place.
