Excellent restaurant, generous portions, a well-stocked appetizer buffet, and very friendly staff. In short, I highly recommend it, but be sure to book ahead, even in winter as it gets very busy. Thank you, Chef.

It's always a pleasure to have lunch here; traditional cuisine at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it if you're visiting Île de Ré.

👏👏Excellent! A super friendly welcome and service, a buffet of starters with very good quality products, a delicious fish dish, and an excellent dessert 👌 all for a really reasonable price. A restaurant where we'd love to have lunch several days in a row. We'll definitely be back!

We went there all week because it was so good. The staff at this restaurant are kind, respectful, and helpful. The food is absolutely delicious. The mussels are to die for, and the chocolate fondant is divine! 🤩 If you're ever in Rivedoux, you absolutely must go! You'll be in heaven! 😉

La Chaloupe

21/03/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Chaloupe. We first stopped by for a drink on their waterside terrace and then returned for dinner. The staff is incredibly friendly, thank you for the warm welcome, and kudos to the chef – we devoured our plates! See you soon! 😊
