Thank you! I've never eaten such a good mountain burger in my life. From the fries to the meat and the cheddar sauce, it was exceptional. The servers are very friendly. I highly recommend making a reservation. For a Monday, the restaurant was absolutely packed.
Once you've paid, you can pet Michel the cat. Michel keeps a watchful eye on the restaurant's smooth operation 🙂.

A very pleasant, friendly, and attentive welcome.
Beautiful, unique dining room with mountain charm.
No complaints about the service: quick, efficient, and delicious, featuring local products.
Thank you for welcoming us and our small dog.
The only slight drawback was that we were a little cold during the meal.
We will definitely return.

The meal was pretty good, the homemade fries were great, however, the hamburger I ordered without sauce still came with sauce, so it wasn't very good.
The waiter was friendly.
The cappuccino wasn't very good.
On the other hand, they accept large dogs.

We discovered Le Refuge and thoroughly enjoyed our meal from start to finish.
The cooking was exceptional, the meats were of excellent quality, and the chef's skill was impeccable.
The atmosphere was both welcoming and highly professional, making the experience even more enjoyable.
We particularly appreciated the fact that the meats were cooked right in front of the customers: a truly spectacular sight, as impressive as it was delicious.
In fact, we were so impressed that we returned the next day to try other dishes on the menu… and we weren't disappointed at all: our plates were empty both days!
One word: BRAVO! 👏 We will definitely be back for more wonderful weekends in Gérardmer.
