01/07/2026: A wonderful discovery in Gérardmer! For those of us who love surprises, this restaurant with its blind tasting menus was perfect. We received a very warm welcome (plus a little bowl of water for our dog!) and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend it!

05/07/2026: No hotel stay, but a superb family meal. Everything was perfect, the food was excellent. The setting was superb, the service impeccable. A wonderful discovery; I didn't know about it at all. I'll be back.

24/06/2026: We were recommended this restaurant as a typical Vosges restaurant. Surprise! 60% of the menu was pizza. The €30 set menu, judging by the appearance of the main course, I suspect the delicious pie starter was from a local caterer and not the chef. And to top it all off, the blueberry tart from the region, from Thyriet – the epitome of luxury! 21/07/2026: I ordered a pizza for pickup; it was ready promptly and absolutely delicious. The thin, crispy crust was baked in a stone oven, it was generously topped with fresh ingredients, and the price was perfectly reasonable.

24/05/2026: Good food, disastrous service. Our waitress tossed us the bread, salt, and pepper without a word or a smile—we felt like we were intruding. Some people are clearly not cut out for customer service jobs.

17/05/2026: A completely unique place where you're bombarded with memories, between the Formica furniture, all the objects from our grandparents' house, and all the sweets from our childhood...it's wonderful to be able to settle down in this little corner to have a drink or a bite to eat...a fantastic trip down memory lane 🥰🥰

19/05/2026: Good experience at the Alsatian Tavern: I had a very good meal; the tarte flambée was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The servers were also friendly and the service pleasant. You can tell it's a very popular tourist spot. The only real downside (for me) is the lack of space between the tables; they're really very close together (20cm apart). So you have to like fairly cramped places. Personally, it's not really the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. But it's still a good place to eat a good tarte flambée in Gérardmer 😊

24/05/2026: My nose was bleeding and the lady at the hostel treated me extremely well because I wasn't staying at the hostel, I was out cycling!

22/04/2026: The beds are as sturdy as modeling clay (my friend Peter Pan's bed collapsed). The first minute he tried to put it back up, but he twisted his wrist. The food is disastrous, plus the portions are about the size of a rabbit's. 🐇🥕🐰

10/07/2026: Perfectly located snack bar! The staff is fantastic, friendly, and welcoming! The food is excellent, with a price-quality ratio rarely seen in Gérardmer! Fast service!

25/06/2026: Favourite spot. Chilled, great service from very pleasant young staff members. We came several evenings for a great ice-cream "glaces Italian". Today we are lunch. A salad and a steak with fries. Good price and delicious!

01/07/2026: A very popular establishment in the center of Gérardmer, right in the heart of the town center, the tables fill up almost as soon as it empties, and yet the staff are incredibly attentive to their customers.

05/05/2026: I don't usually leave reviews... We used to get pizzas from Garage, but we'll never go back, for one reason: They put two burnt pizzas in the box and acted like everything was fine. I should mention that we only realized this two hours later, while we were having drinks. Mistakes happen, I understand, but selling them anyway, that's hard to accept. Not to mention that they weren't cooked at all inside, neither the dough nor the eggs, and there was no seasoning (we'd already noticed this on other orders). And the two mushroom pizzas weren't cooked enough either, nor were they seasoned. In short, nothing was right. I hope you'll improve your professionalism in the future.
