05/08/2026: We walked past this restaurant... and thought, why not? Let's break the mold, challenge our preconceptions, and discover something new! A superb experience for our daughter's 17th birthday! The service, the food, the ambiance... everything was perfect. Special mention to the young lady who explained everything... and with a smile! Thank you for this wonderful moment.

31/07/2026: Four-course menu (€48), vegan for me and the classic for my partner. We both absolutely loved it; we savored every single dish! It's wonderful to find such refined and flavorful cuisine, even in the vegan version, which is very similar to the classic menu. The ingredients are high-quality, everything is homemade, and you can taste the difference! The service was impeccable. I highly recommend it; it's an experience well worth the price. We will definitely return on our next trip to the area!

21/07/2026: I ordered a pizza for pickup; it was ready promptly and absolutely delicious. The thin, crispy crust was baked in a stone oven, it was generously topped with fresh ingredients, and the price was perfectly reasonable.

26/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We dined at Le Couaroge in Gérardmer on July 26th, as a group of 10, seated on the right-hand terrace. Honestly, we have absolutely no complaints! The meals were excellent, generous, and prepared with high-quality ingredients. The desserts were simply delicious and the perfect ending to the meal. The service was pleasant, the staff welcoming, and the atmosphere very warm. Our entire table had a wonderful time, and everyone left satisfied. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in Gérardmer. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful experience; we will gladly return!

24/05/2026: A very warm welcome thanks to Enora; all the staff and the owner are lovely. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is delicious, and the decor is amazing for every season. I highly recommend La Clé des Champs!

24/05/2026: Good food, disastrous service. Our waitress tossed us the bread, salt, and pepper without a word or a smile—we felt like we were intruding. Some people are clearly not cut out for customer service jobs.

17/07/2026: An unforgettable experience… The sweets are sold at a price that immediately gives them a taste of luxury. The service is just as memorable: if you like feeling like you don't belong, you'll be well catered for. As for managing reviews, criticism seems to be an even harder pill to swallow than the sweets themselves. If you dare express your dissatisfaction, prepare to become the 'problem' of the story (just read the responses to the less positive reviews, including mine, for proof). This place proves that you can sell sugar without the slightest hint of sweetness. Please note, this review only concerns the sale of the sweets 🍬 because the staff on the terrace were very good 😀 and yes, Grandma, when something is good, you have to say so too… Furthermore, I invite you to read my numerous positive comments to soften your anger and perhaps change your rather harsh judgment of me. Know that being able to accept less positive reviews is a sign of intelligence… I'm sorry that your sensitive mind suffered so much. Finally, thank you for the song… I love it!

19/05/2026: Good experience at the Alsatian Tavern: I had a very good meal; the tarte flambée was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The servers were also friendly and the service pleasant. You can tell it's a very popular tourist spot. The only real downside (for me) is the lack of space between the tables; they're really very close together (20cm apart). So you have to like fairly cramped places. Personally, it's not really the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. But it's still a good place to eat a good tarte flambée in Gérardmer 😊

20/05/2026: We don't regret our choice. We had a fantastic meal, a warm welcome, and a beautiful setting. And above all, the wood-fired cooking! That's what attracted us.

24/05/2026: My nose was bleeding and the lady at the hostel treated me extremely well because I wasn't staying at the hostel, I was out cycling!

22/04/2026: The beds are as sturdy as modeling clay (my friend Peter Pan's bed collapsed). The first minute he tried to put it back up, but he twisted his wrist. The food is disastrous, plus the portions are about the size of a rabbit's. 🐇🥕🐰

10/07/2026: Perfectly located snack bar! The staff is fantastic, friendly, and welcoming! The food is excellent, with a price-quality ratio rarely seen in Gérardmer! Fast service!

25/06/2026: Favourite spot. Chilled, great service from very pleasant young staff members. We came several evenings for a great ice-cream "glaces Italian". Today we are lunch. A salad and a steak with fries. Good price and delicious!

16/07/2026: I'm a big fan of this restaurant on the Gé, lovely terrace, great atmosphere, their cocktails are fantastic and there's a wide variety (Mojitos with lots of different flavors: mango, raspberry, strawberry, blueberry 🫐). The food is excellent, the tarte flambée is delicious and the salads are great too, and for cheese lovers, the Reblochon tarte flambée and the Tarti'fouette are real gems ✨. The servers are friendly and helpful.

12/07/2026: We came on a Saturday evening; the terrace was packed, but we were seated inside. The wine and drinks were decent, but the food was disappointing: a boneless ribeye steak and pasta with guanciale that was nothing special (four tiny pieces floating around on the plate). €19 for pasta with cheese is a bit steep... But the worst part was the €6 charge for five fries. Perhaps the quality of the food drops in high season, but it wasn't worth the price, and we were disappointed.
