An absolutely incredible experience! I've known this refuge since I was little, and it's always a huge pleasure to return. The place is magnificent, with an exceptional setting and such a pleasant, family-friendly atmosphere. The meal, breakfast, was simply extraordinary, featuring fresh, local products. You can really taste the quality and the love for a job well done in every dish. The room was also perfect, very clean and comfortable. And the bedding… I don't think I've ever slept so well! The bed was incredible, pure bliss. An authentic, beautiful, and welcoming place that I wholeheartedly recommend. A truly iconic spot. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

An exceptional welcome, food of exceptional quality and quantity rarely seen 👍 The roast suckling pig is a must-try, a true delight (those with small appetites, look elsewhere :) and to finish the meal, the raspberry liqueur… absolutely divine! A truly wonderful discovery, both personally and gastronomically.

After hiking to Punta di a Vacca Morta, we got caught in a downpour and took refuge in this... mountain refuge! We stumbled upon it quite by chance, and it was a good thing we did because we had a truly divine meal. I didn't have the courage to order the roast pork because it was such a large portion, so we started with a lonzo carpaccio, followed by stuffed eggplant for my wife and pork sautéed with polenta for me. The quality of the ingredients and the home cooking are simply incomparable to what we found in Porto-Vecchio or Bonifacio. The local sourcing certainly plays a part. A small chestnut crème brûlée to finish, and we left completely satisfied by this delicious impromptu meal. Special mention to the very welcoming and friendly staff. A must-try!

I arrived after 2 pm, following a long hike, and the kitchen was actually closed. However, they still made me something to eat. Thank you so much! The food, wild boar with polenta, was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it. The service was incredibly friendly and the place was lovely. Perfect after a hike or just for a meal.

A superb experience at this restaurant: sublime food (the charcuterie board as a starter was a delight! And what can I say about the suckling pig... exceptional). Added to that, impeccable service, with friendly and attentive waiters. The best part: dogs are welcome, and they are also very well looked after. We will definitely be back!

A return again after 2022, we are still just as happy, with evenings of Corsican singing, and always hearty and delicious food.
